Secondary Curriculum
A personalised school curriculum preparing pupils for qualifications and future pathways
Helping young people re-engage, gain qualifications and move forward with confidence.
At Secondary level, our school curriculum focuses on re-engagement, academic progress and preparation for qualifications and next steps. Many pupils arrive having experienced disrupted education or challenges sustaining engagement in mainstream school.

Our Approach
Structured teaching in a calm, supportive environment
Secondary pupils often join us at a point where mainstream education is not working. As a school delivering Alternative Provision, we provide:
Our focus is on rebuilding engagement while maintaining ambition for future outcomes.
Core Subjects
A structured curriculum that supports academic progress and future pathways
Our curriculum focuses on core academic learning alongside practical and vocational subjects. This balanced approach helps pupils re-engage with education, build confidence and develop the skills they need for progression.

Reading, writing and communication skills that support literacy, confidence and functional language use. Learning is adapted to individual starting points, with a focus on engagement, comprehension and practical application.

Thematic Learning
Integrated topic-based learning that brings subjects together in a practical, engaging way. This approach helps pupils make connections, apply skills across areas and remain motivated through purposeful learning.
