Name: Callum Siddall Role: Director of Chances Mentoring/DSL About me: I have gained a variety of qualifications in the past 11 years within the industry. I am currently also the Head Safeguarding Officer for Ashton-U-Lyne RUFC and a qualified personal trainer. I believe every child deserves the right to a fair deal despite their barriers which is why I created Chances Mentoring Alternate provision to provide those young people who are experiencing challenges within the mainstream environment to get their second chance. I am currently completing my MA in Childhood and Youth.


Name: Chris Brookes Role: Senior Support Worker About me: I have three children and enjoy all sports. I am qualified Level 2 & 3 in Active IQ sports. I have training in a variety of areas such as drug treatment, substance misuse and counselling. I have previously worked on the pastoral teams in secondary schools and as a prison officer for 17 years.


Name: Michaela Cassidy Role: Support Worker About me: I enjoy sports, football (Manchester United in particular) and being with my friends. I worked in a variety of settings with young people in aid of wanting to make a difference to their lives.


Name: Rhiane Brannigan Role: Support Worker About me: I have first class honors degree in Psychology and chose Chances Mentoring to the oppertunities they offer for both staff and students.

Name: Emily Lees Role: Apprentice Teaching Assistany About me: I applied for this role because working with children is something that I’ve always wanted to do and this was my chance to push myself to do something new and something that not only I could be proud of but my son as well.


Name: Darnel Mercer Role: Support Worker About me: I work at Chances Mentoring because I feel like using sport to impact a child’s life for the better is a great way to teach them many life lessons that they can take into their adult life.


Name: Natalie O'Neill Role: Support Worker About me: I have three children and enjoy sports, especially football (Manchester City). I have a qualification in Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning with 11 years within secondary education. I believe every child has the right to an education and I am willing to try new processes to support students on their learning journey.


Name: Louise Taylor Role: Support Worker About me: I have 17 year experience within EYFS. I chose Chances Mentoring as I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and feel like I have had lot of transferable skills that I could use in this sort of setting. I am a Mum myself and believe that everyone deserves a chance to change
